Hi! Where can a find one of your classes? I live in Coppell, TX & maybe you came to our Coppell Senior Center to give a class, but I was unable to attend. The drawing on silk scarves is of interest to me, too. I have enjoyed may years of stringing beads, crochet, embroidery, sewing & fiber arts. But I have never seen classes for your art. I am also close to Farmers Branch, Carrollton, Grapevine, & Lewisville Senior Centers. Hope to hear from you soon 🙂

    • Hi Cathy,
After a year and a half of planning and directing the 33rd International Lettering Arts Conference this past summer, I decided to take a few months off from teaching to concentrate on some creative ideas and projects.
And I have taught Zentangle classes at the Coppell Senior Center too!
I actually have a Tetrahedron Tangles class I just set up yesterday for beating “Cabin Fever” between Christmas and New Year’s Day at two locations:
Art on the Veranda, McKinney, TX – DECEMBER 27, 1:30pm – 4:30pm ($50 includes supply fee)
      105 W. Louisiana Street, McKinney, TX 75069 – SIGN UP HERE:artontheveranda@gmail.com or call: (469) 406-7704.

Sparks Studio, Arlington, TX – DECEMBER 28, 1:30pm – 4:30pm ($45 plus $5 supply fee payable at session)
      509 W. Main Street, Arlington, TX 76010 • 817-266-3085 • SparksStudioArt.com
      Tetrahedron Tangles
      $45 plus $5 supply fee

Bring your relatives and friends to a creative space and Tangle with us!

Instructor Angie Vangalis, CZT will teach the Zentangle® method of drawing on a 4-sided form called a Tetrahedron.
Each student will have their choice of one of the 5 colors: Black, White, Tortilla Cream, Kraft Brown and Concrete Gray to tangle on. We start working on a flat surface and then assemble at the end of class.
Includes all teacher supplied materials for use during class and supplies to take home.
Experienced Tanglers are encouraged to bring their mini kits and pens they like to tangle with too.
Sign up for class on the link provided.

  2. Hello Angie,
I just read about the success of coloring books at Barnes & Noble — http://www.adweek.com/news/advertising-branding/how-barnes-noble-hitting-back-against-amazon-coloring-books-167938 — and thought of you!

    • Hi Gemmy,
Coloring is a very popular pastime. This year I was privileged with the opportunity of Co-Editing, designing and producing the 24th Edition of the Speedball Textbook – This is the 100th year it has been in publication. See more here: http://speedballart.com/our-products.php?cat=443 – I designed the cover too! I’ll be posting on this in a few days with a special offer on this special Centennial Edition. Thanks so much!
      Angie
